For all those who have been waiting for Deepika Padukone to make her next announcement, this one’s for you. If all goes well, the dimpled beauty will next be seen in a dark but romantic film. Without divulging into deets the actress hinted her fans about her next outing. Deepika Padukone, who recently made an appearance at the opening session of Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star 2019, made the revelation. Soon after her wedding with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone started shooting for her home production, Chhapaak. But the actress has recently spilled the beans about her upcoming project.
Confirming the same Deepika told the Film Directors, “I have found a film that I am likely to do early next year but it’s not light. It’s still a messy romance, it’s quite dark but still in the romantic space.” We can’t wait for the makers to make an official announcement soon.
Talking about working with husband and actor Ranveer Singh in 83, Deepika said that she and the actor are very different on set than when we they are otherwise. Sometimes they may not even drive together because they are in a different headspace.
She said, “It’s not purposefully, there’s no expectation of behaving like husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend when you’re working. On 83, I’m not the thinking whether he’s my husband as there’s so much to think about in that moment, the scenes, the lines. Your mind is occupied and you’re performing like your character and all those things come into play.”
